报告内容简介:
Boostrapping is an important technique that enables "Fully" homomorphic encryption (FHE). There has been active research since the first generation of FHE. In this talk, I am going to present several technical developments of FHE bootstrapping and some applications, such as funcitonal encryption and tighter reduction. 报告人简介:
Feng-Hao Liu is an associate professor at the EECS department of FAU. He received a PhD degree in Computer Science from Brown University in 2013, and then joined the Maryland Cybersecurity Center at University of Maryland as a postdoctoral researcher from 2013 – 2015. In 2015, he joined FAU as an assistant professor and then became an associate professor in 2021.
His research interests include post-quantum and lattice-based cryptography, homomorphic computation, multiparty computation, tamper/leakage resilient designs, foundation of cryptography, etc. Particularly, he would like to develop new mathematical and analytical techniques to improve efficiency of the current research frontier, aiming at creating a secure and trusted cyberspace for both outsourced and portable environments, even against quantum computers. His research is supported by an NSF CRII award and an NSF Career Award.
