报告题目:安全多方计算抗主动攻击中的密码技术

摘要:Secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC) allows a group of users to securely compute a function on their joint inputs without leaking their private input to other users. It is a powerful cryptographic tool that can be used in various applications such as privacy-preserving machine learning without relying on any trusted third party. In this talk, I will give some advanced cryptographic techniques that are helpful in designing Secure Multi-Party Computation protocols secure against active adversaries, including commitment schemes, zero knowledge proofs of knowledge, coin tossing and how to convert semi-honest to malicious secure computation.

报告人:Dr. Guomin Yang is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing and Information Technology, University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. He was admitted to the Mathematics Department of Fudan University in 1999, and moved to City University of Hong Kong in 2000 after being awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship. He received the Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2004, 2006 and 2009, respectively. In 2007, as one of eight awardees around the world, he received the (ISC)2 information security scholarship from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. Before joining UOW as a Lecturer in 2012, he was a Research Scientist at the Temasek Laboratories, National University of Singapore. Dr. Yang's research interests are applied cryptography and information security. He has published over 100 research papers that appeared at many highly respected venues, such as ACM TISSEC, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, CRYPTO, ASIACRYPT, PKC, CT-RSA, Euro S&P, ESORICS, etc. He is on the editorial board of Theoretical Computer Science (Elsevier), the Program Co-Chair of ACISP 2018, and a Co-Editor of a new international standard ISO/IEC11770-7. In 2015, he received the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award.
